Since today was the last day of EQTs, we had a chill day. Some of us chilled while others got feed back on their essay. I realized how fast the year went bye, I'm happy with how this semester ended!
Today we took our End of Quarter test. Throughout the test, I knew I was going to second guess myself. Which I did. Let's just say I did not make the best grade possible, but I know I'll improve. Overall, today helped me to see where I need to improve.
In class today, we began to work on analyzing the different themes portrayed in The Color Purple . We were out in groups and had to come up with a theme for that specific topic and provide textual evidence. Overall, class today was great!
Today was very productive. To begin class, we took a pop quiz. Afterwards, we read and analyzed letter from The Color Purple . To conclude class, we answered short response questions and acted as the answer choices for those specific questions.
Today was very productive. We tied The Color Purple into AP exam prompts. It was interesting to see how different characters can tie into specific prompts.
Today was my favorite chill day. We went over some critical thinking questions about The Color Purple . Afterwards, we read more of the novel for the rest of the class. With finals coming up, its kind of soothing to have chill day like this in class.
In today's class, my group finished presenting our analysis of letter 57 and letter 58 from The Color Purple. I actually learned more from presenting than I did reading the letters. In addition, we read more of the great novel. To conclude class, we wrote and exit slip on who's letters we liked more. I chose both Celie's and Nettie's.
Today we had the opportunity to compose our own poem for a contest. I wanted my poem to be personal and something that everyone can relate to. I believe I did a great job conveying my message. Hopefully, everyone who reads it can get their own message from it.
Today , we worked more in multiple choice. I got upset because I made a simple mistake. So, today I learned to read questions more carefully. To conclude the class, we read more of The Color Purple .
Today we read more of The Color Purple . This has to be one of the novels I read where I don't want to stop, which is rare. We also worked on multiple choice questions to prepare for the AP exam. Overall, I enjoyed class.
