Ending Fences

In class today, we finushed reading Fences. It was a very interesting ending, yet confusing. Troy's funeral was taking place, Cory decided not to go. We had a discussion on whether he should have went or not. We also reviewed an AP prompt and applied it to the play.

Topic 2: Being Mesmerized By Nature

   A moment where I was mesmerized by nature was when I took a trip to Gatlinburg with my friends. Once we got in the mountains, or what seemed what like mountains, my best friend told me to look out the window; I looked. I saw the trees, they looked as if each layer of trees were on a higher level of elevation. The time of day was close to evening, so the sun set right upon the highest layer of trees. It was also around Christmas time so once we got in the city area there were red and green lights, holiday music playing, and just a cheerful vibe all in all. The layers of trees were even more mesmerizing when night fell and the stars glistened above them, with the moon giving the trees a type of radiance.
